(About The Images)
1917-D Reverse. AU-55. 1917-D Reverse. AU-55.
Lot Title: 1917-D Reverse. AU-55.
Description: A pink glow heightens this piece's delicate silver aspect. Retaining much of its luster, this captivating date exhibits no detracting marks or blemishes. Characteristically, Liberty's skirt lines, and the Eagle's central feather details, exhibit a softness on an otherwise well-struck specimen of this date and mint mark combination.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1917-D Reverse. NGC MS-62.
Though not flashy, the satin mint luster for this early Walking Liberty half-dollar seems significantly finer than what is implied by the conservative grade of MS-62 assigned by NGC. Even the strike...

This is a bright white Walker that you just don’t see that often in higher grades. This specimen is free of major marks and has minimal wear.
1141The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$500.00
1917-D Reverse. AU-58+.
An Earlier Date. Strongly Struck and problem free. Nice Walkers are tough. If you didn't notice, that was written in Haiku Poem form. Just trying to enlighten everyone's lives a little bit.
