Lot Title:
1891 $1.00. VF.
Description:
Fr-222. Bright red, blue, and green ink still adorn the surfaces of this lightly pressed, ever popular "Martha." Six tiny pinholes are hidden in a cluster on the left border of the front. Even so, the winning bidder will have plenty to be proud of with this note.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Fr. 223. This bright Martha note would easily be mistaken for UNC at first glance, as the paper and ink aren't faded at all despite light use. Look for slight wear toward the right side of the top... |

Fr-223. Appealing Martha Ace with the crispness and folds typically seen with VF notes. Appears pressed, but the overall color and brightness is so attractive it hardly matters. |
