(About The Images)
1888 PCGS MS-66. 1888 PCGS MS-66.
Lot Title: 1888 PCGS MS-66.
Description: This incredible jewel is a delight to behold, and it holds up well even under close examination. Marvelous mint green iridescence twinkles off each side, and the detail is energized with unstoppable mint luster that rolls around with pleasure. Though the obverse fields are satiny and not reflective, they differ in texture from the Liberty’s portrait, yielding an enticing cameo effect that only adds to the eye appeal. Liberty’s bashful portrait blushes with rose color at the thought of so many admirers lining up to look at her; yet we recommend staring at her for as long as is necessary to appreciate her beauty.

776The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$825.00
1888 PCGS MS-63.
From most respects, a very choice gold dollar, because the luster is strong all over, and surfaces exhibit enticing medium-gold tone. Very well struck with more than its share of sharp details, but...
