(About The Images)
1921-D ANACS VF-30. 1921-D ANACS VF-30.
Lot Title: 1921-D ANACS VF-30.
Description: It appears that this Mercury dime technically grades VF-35, but ANACS deducted five points on account of a couple of circulation marks on Liberty’s neck. Soft grey color with hints of rose tint on either side confirm very nice originality. This example displays strong rims, which is unusual for an issue notorious for poor peripheral detail.
Low Estimate: $250.00
High Estimate: $320.00

482The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$1,450.00
1921-D NGC MS-62 FB.
From the standpoint of contact marks and abrasions, the surfaces are amazing, with the obverse seemingly completely free from any contact whatsoever, and the reverse has perhaps a handful of extremely...
370The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$450.00
1921-D PCGS VF-35.
A dull, old cleaning has hardly impacted the appearance at all, and was likely taken into account by a "silent net grade" at PCGS, since sharpness meets all the demands of a full XF-40 grade. ...
371The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$550.00
1921-D XF.
A narrow planchet lamination on the reverse lies over E PLURIBUS UNUM. AU luster revolves around the fields, but the grade is netted down to XF-45 due to especially dark toning that might verge on an...
442The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$235.00
1921-D F-15 and 1923-S AU-58 dipped.
The 1921-D is an unquestionably original, problem-free coin with the perfect “look” for a mid-grade circulated Mercury dime. The 1923-S has very close to fully split bands and a good strike...
489The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$625.00
1921-D XF-40.
Having the second lowest recorded mintage for the entire series, this key-date Mercury dime issue is elusive and always in demand at every grade level. Our example has circulated only moderately and...
490The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$2,600.00
1921-D NGC MS-64 FB.
With a mintage that barely exceeds one million coins, the 1921-D is obviously an important key to the Mercury Dime series, and a near-Gem coin with Full Bands, as exemplified by the coin at hand,...
1235The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$825.00
1921-D PCGS AU-50.
An always in demand key date specimen that has an eminent silver aspect augmented by exceptional crimson toning. The design elements are prominent with the central horizontal bands distinctly...
513The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$350.00
1921-D PCGS VF-35.
An always in demand key date issue with a mintage of just over one million, it is usually located in low grades having little or no rims visible. Its antique pewter-gray surfaces have a variegated...
514The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$725.00
1921-D XF-45+.
A delightful example this very important branch mint key. Although it appears to be lightly cleaned, because of some light hairlines observed in the fields when using a glass, its appearance is an...
