(About The Images)

Lot Title:
1895-O NGC MS-62.
Description:
Shimmering straw gold luster flows across both sides, but is interrupted by a couple of wispy hairlines and the numerous tiny nicks and abrasions that typically establish the Select Uncirculated grade. Although a common date in lower grades, particularly circulated grades, the 1895-O becomes a somewhat more difficult issue above the MS-60 level.

Although lightly cleaned, this piece retains some luster. Hairlines and ticks consistent for this grade level. Decently struck for a New Orleans issue. |
