Lot Title:
1882 $50.00. F.
Description:
Fr-1193. Relatively bright gold ink on the back of this somewhat flimsy and probably pressed note. There are a couple of pinholes around the big "50" on the front, but all in all, most will enjoy the opportunity to obtain this elusive type. The red seal is vibrant, and decent margins are on display.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Fr-1196. Would be a solid Fine if not for a few margin tears on the bottom margin, only one of which goes into the design. The ink on the back is faded. Better signature combination, and a more... |
