While there is no denying that some of the coins in this set have issues, it must also be admitted that there are many, many coins worthy of closer inspection. The four key dates, 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, 1922 “plain,” and the 1931-S, are all absent. Otherwise, the set is complete. 1909-S is represented by a VG coin stuck in a PCGS G-6 holder. Perhaps no more than a handful of coins or so are cleaned, but from 1939 on, many are Choice Unc coins. Pay attention to the early dates on that first page!
