Lot Title:

Set of Washington Quarters 1932 thru 1997-D (NO PROOFS), inclusive.
|
Description:
|
As is typical of such sets assembled by collectors, grades for the early coins progress from moderately circulated levels up through the uncirculated level for later dated coins. That being said, even the key date 1932-D and 1932-S examples are way above average for a circulated set. The 1932-D grades VG+, and the 1932-S is a nice F-12. ALL other coins grade no less than Fine, and coins dated after the 1930s grade at least VF with very few exceptions. Many coins from the 1960s onward are BU. An excellent set that needs little in the way of upgrades. Hand lettered from 1996 on. Housed in a deluxe Dansco album.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
