Although each of the coins in this album would qualify for at least a BU grade, or Proof in some obvious instances, a couple of the coins are admittedly a little “chattery,” in particular the 1972 and 1972-D, and might qualify only for the “select” level. A quick perusal of the set indicates that the consignor intended these coins to be very white, bright pieces, and thus he chose to house them in an Intercept Shield album that is designed to prevent toning. As a collector-assembled set, this collection contains many coins of far better quality than might be found in typical dealer-stock albums.
