(About The Images)
1828 O-122 NGC AU-53 and 1834 O-107 PCGS AU-53. 1828 O-122 NGC AU-53 and 1834 O-107 PCGS AU-53.
Lot Title: 1828 O-122 NGC AU-53 and 1834 O-107 PCGS AU-53.
Description: A canopy of cyan, mulberry, and honey gold colors intermingle across the obverse of the 1828 in an irregular pattern, while the reverse displays the same colors in a more organized fashion, with a typical inward-outward progression from gold to blue likely confirming this as an album coin. Nicely struck, too, though the luster is not particularly strong. Across each side, the 1834 displays a consistent appearance of blueberry tone that cedes to a thin circle of iridescence around the stars and peripheral lettering. Not much cartwheel effect is noticeable, but sparkles of mint luster percolate amongst the stars. Two coin lot.
