(About The Images)
1819 O-107 PCGS XF-40, 1829 O-112 NGC AU-55, and 1830 "small 0" O-101 PCGS AU-50. 1819 O-107 PCGS XF-40, 1829 O-112 NGC AU-55, and 1830 "small 0" O-101 PCGS AU-50.
Lot Title: 1819 O-107 PCGS XF-40, 1829 O-112 NGC AU-55, and 1830 "small 0" O-101 PCGS AU-50.
Description: The 1819 displays an old, thin scratch extending from Liberty’s mouth to between stars 4 and 5, and the reverse is oddly dimpled several times at the Eagle’s left (observed) wing. Peripheral tone nicely frames both sides. The 1829 has been moderately dipped, but as sometimes happens, subsequent proper album storage has resulted in a remarkably vivid rainbow of peripheral color on both sides. The 1830 is the most original of this trio, with nicely patinated surfaces throughout, and a flamboyant crescent of ocean blue color along the left side, both obverse and reverse. Three coin lot.

649The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$450.00
Five different 1819 die marriages.
Courteous Collection of Early Type. 1819 makes a strong presence here with all-different die-marriages listed. We suggest: O-102 (XF/cleaned and spotty), O-110 (VF), O-112 (XF/cleaned pasty white),...
479The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$603.00
Three Bust half-dollars. 1819, 1829, and 1834.
A trio of capped bust half-dollars, none of them attributed. Judging by the extensive luster, 1819/8 appears to be technically a mint-state coin, but shows contact marks on Liberty's neck and some...
557The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$300.00
1819 O-107 ANACS AU-53.
In spite of encapsulation by ANACS, some speculation as to the origin of the toning on this coin is called for, as the colors and toning pattern do not, in the opinion of your humble cataloger,...
1406The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$250.00
1819 SEGS AU-58.
It is very unfortunate that this coin was played with. It has the details of an AU-58, but it has been toned and colored. The peripheries do have some russet tones on the obverse that appear to be...
583The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$625.00
1819 O-111 R-1 MS-62.
A naturally stunning example of a commonly encountered variety. Its surfaces emit a delicate, resplendent luster from the intense silvery gray hue that is visually heightened by a copious lilac-gold...
