Lot Title:
Eight Lincoln Wheat Cents. Unc.
Description:
1910-S MS-65 RB cleaned, 1911 MS-64 Red cleaned, 1913 MS-63 Red, 1915 MS-65 RB cleaned, 1916-S MS-64 RB cleaned, 1917 MS-65 RB cleaned, 1917-D MS-65 Red cleaned, and 1919-D MS-64 Red cleaned. This is another great lot for the album collector. These coins have been cleaned, and when I say cleaned, I mean dipped. The coins have no hairlines, but a few do show some carbon spotting. With time, this group will achieve a more natural appearance. Taking the altered surfaces into account, these are still very tough coins to find with this level of eye appeal.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
