(About The Images)
1854 Arrows VF-20, 1860 AU-58, and 1870 XF-40. 1854 Arrows VF-20, 1860 AU-58, and 1870 XF-40.
Lot Title: 1854 Arrows VF-20, 1860 AU-58, and 1870 XF-40.
Description: The 1854 coin is a luxuriously original and richly patinated coin of outstanding quality. At a grade of at least VF, the surfaces are remarkably free of abrasions or problems of any kind. The antebellum 1860 coin is a thoroughly original coin with only a hint of rub and a couple of faint scrapes across Liberty's head to confirm a brief stint in circulation. It has nice luster, and the lovely, original patina has taken on some nice iridescent hues, especially on the reverse. The consignor removed it from an ANACS AU-58 holder for use in a type set. Finally, the 1870 coin is a crusty, wholly original example with only a little wear.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

7070 Collection. Brilliant with exceptionally frosty sheen, the whole coin appears to be completely untoned, except for a small ashy spot on Liberty's left (observed) thigh. This helps illuminate...

Evidence of a nifty die clash appears on both sides. The coin is bathed in vanilla-tan patina and steadily revolving luster.

1854 w/ Arrows and 1858. NGC MS-62.
A pair of bright half-dimes, both graded MS-62 by NGC. 1854 "arrows" and 1858 are included. The 1854 is severely die clashed on both sides, the reversed images shrouding Liberty's portrait in what...
444The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$150.00
1854 w/ Arrows. AU-50.
Here is a solid AU Half Dime that will fit nicely into a higher grade type set. It is blazing white and has plenty of original mint luster to go around. There are no major marks or distractions.
