Lot Title: 1914 $10.00 St. Louis. Blue Seal. PMG XF-45.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1914 $10 Blue Seal St. Louis Star PCGS VF-20/small edge tear/tape...
Fr# 934 Star. Scarce 1914 $10 star note with only about sixteen reported. PCGS goes to some lengths to mention deficiencies that are hardly unexpected of VF, including "small edge tear at left, tape...
162The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$725.00
1914 $10.00 Blue Seal Kansas City Star. PCGS VF-20.
Fr# 942 Star. Obviously un-processed with honest wear and the perfect "look" for VF. Scarce Kansas City star note with no problems at all. Some day, the Royals may even become a professional...

1914 $10.00 Kansas City. Blue Seal. F.

60The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$210.00
1914 $5 Kansas City and 1914 $10.00 Boston. Blue Seal. VF.
Fr# 883a and 907a. Both notes bear the White/Mellon signature pair. The $5 appears to be at least Choice XF, while folds keep the $10 in the better VF range. Two note lot.
157The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$500.00
1914 $10.00 Minneapolis. Blue Seal. PCGS CHCU-64.
Fr-939. An unusually high-grade $10 Federal Reserve Note on the Minneapolis district. Nice centering and Premier Paper Quality. The grade seems conservative.

1914 $10.00. Atlanta Blue Seal. AU.
Fr-926. Burke/Houston signature combination in relatively high grade. Other than a light russet toning fleck in the white space below the top left "10" on the front, there is really not much to...

Sequential Pair of Type C 1914 $10.00 Chicago. Blue Seal. CU.
Fr-931C. Sequential pair of 1914 Type C Federal Reserve Notes. They are both appealing, crisp, and bright with bold ink qualities.
123The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$500.00
1914 $10.00. Minneapolis Blue Seal. PCGS CHCU-64.
Fr-939. Well centered, extremely bright white paper, rich blue ink, and clearly Premier Paper Quality. In fact, it appears PCGS was a bit stingy when grading this note.

1914 $10.00 Atlanta. Blue Seal. PMG VF-25.

1914 $10.00 Boston. Blue Seal. PMG AU-53 EPQ.
Fr-907B. Nice original note that is a somewhat difficult Type B to locate in such a high grade. Exceptional Paper Quality, says PMG.
176The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$500.00
1914 $10.00 Dallas. Blue Seal. PMG CHCU-64 EPQ.
Fr-947. Pleasing type example from Dallas District. Exceptional paper quality, but lightly stained around the bottom margin on the back. Apparently very original.
164The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$625.00
1914 $10.00 Saint Louis. Blue Seal. AU.
Fr-933. Outstanding color and cut may convince some that this note is CU, and they will have a valid argument. However, a center bend probably presents such a grade. This is a totally original...

1914 $10.00 Saint Louis. Blue Seal. AU.
Fr-909. Ideal originality with embossing on the back and great ink preservation. Rare 909 Friedberg number with Carter Glass signature.
157The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$340.00
1914 $10.00 New York. Blue Seal. AU.
Fr-911C. Bright and crisp with a fold just right of center preventing a CU grade. C-type $10 Federal Reserve Notes with White/Mellon signatures are one of the more difficult ones to find.
158The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$280.00
1914 $10.00. Blue Seal Dallas. RCGS AU-50.
Fr-946. The grade appears dead on as the paper is bright, it has a nice layout, and there appears to be just one center fold. Burke-Houston signatures.

1914 $10.00 St. Louis. Blue Seal. AU.
Fr-933H. Original, as proven by the embossing, and with nice color as well. Rare Carter Glass signature.

1914 $10.00. Blue Seal Chicago. CHCU.
Fr-931A. Sharp corners, bright, and crisp. Great embossing is seen on the back of this Chicago District example.
