(About The Images)
1931-S PCGS MS-65. 1931-S PCGS MS-65.
Lot Title: 1931-S PCGS MS-65.
Description: There are maybe two total marks on this coin, and only a light line on Liberty's face. That is it. Yet, for some reason, it was only certified MS-65. The explanation for this conservative grade can't be because the coin lacks luster, because there is an abundance of it. It does not have Full Split Bands, but the strike is by no means weak, so that can't be the reason either. There are Silver Eagles graded MS-69 that do not look this clean. In other words, this coin is PQ for the grade. See for yourself.
