Description:

Reflective fields and somewhat creamy devices combine to create a nice contrast between the two. The soft russet toning around the obverse peripheries, and darker toning streaks on much of the reverse, flaunt the coin's originality. Chances are that the marks you see on the online image of this piece are on the holder, not the coin, as the surfaces reveal few flaws.

An 1876 dime graded MS-64 by NGC. The good news is that the coin is extremely frosty. The not-so-good news is that there is a pretty bad scratch on the back, just above the wreath's bow (jw). |
