Lot Title:
Eight Barber Dimes and Four Barber Quarters.
Description:
Dimes as follows: 1892 AU-55, 1898 AU-55, 1899 MS-60 counting wheel damage, 1901 AU-58+, 1907 AU-58, 1911-S AU-55, 1912-D AU-58, 1916 AU-58+. Quarters as follows: 1897 MS-60, 1903 AU-58, and 1908 MS-60, plus a fourth coin that you will have to view for yourself to discover the date a grade. We like to tease our customers a little. The coins in this group have a common white look with good luster. Other than the 1899 dime, all the coins are undamaged. The 1899 has a circular gouge near the ear that was caused by a coin counting machine.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
