(About The Images)
1926-S MS-65+. 1926-S MS-65+.
Lot Title: 1926-S MS-65+.
Description: This is a superbly struck Mercury Dime that has not one distraction and shows highly reflective surfaces that lurk beneath some original mint bloom. This is a prime example of a common date, but one that is elusive in Gem.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Low Estimate: $1,750.00
High Estimate: $2,000.00

1926-S PCGS XF-40.
1926-S has long been noted as a tougher date in the Mercury dime series, but the advent of population reports led to realization that it is a legitimate semi-key in higher circulated grades. This is...
493The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$500.00
1926-S NGC AU-58.
This glistening, silvery semi-key exhibits only the faintest signs of circulation effects along with nicely defined details.
1035The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$1,250.00
1926-S MS-63+ FSB.
This glistening, low mintage date reflects a delicate golden blush. An interesting vertical die break is perceived on the obverse from the top of Liberty's cap to her jaw line. The strike depicts...
