Lot Title:
1850-O VF.
Description:
Wow this coin is close to being real cool. The obverse has some light rim dings and a hard-to-see scratch. The reverse has only one problem, a rim crater at 9:00. Other than that, this coin is pretty nice.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Classic Mustang Collection, Mintage: 7500. Famed for its very low mintage, the 1850 dollar in high grade eludes most collectors, as examples seldom come to market, and it is almost impossible to... |

1850 AU/artificial toning.
Obverse toning is not as outrageous as that on the reverse, where vibrant rings of red, light green and blue are nearly patriotic, but not at all natural appearing. Still, details are very sharp,... |

1850 AU Cleaned.
This Seated Half Dollar has AU details, but at some time in its long life it was cleaned. This is a tough date to find, especially in higher grades. |
