1909 NGC PF-67. 1909 NGC PF-67.
Lot Title: 1909 NGC PF-67.

The fields are appear free of any marks or ticks, and the devices are just as clean. It has a golden patina with hues of rose mixed in.

392The Midwest Summer Sale 2014 on 07/18/2014$600.00
1909 PCGS MS-65.
Captain Green Collection. Almond-gold patina emerges over sparkling luster, acquiring some delicate magenta hue on the reverse. Complete obverse star definition pairs admirably with an exceptionally...
393The Midwest Summer Sale 2014 on 07/18/2014$575.00
1909 NGC PF-66.
Seemingly very close to CAMEO, with contrast readily evident between matte texture on the devices and the flashing fields. Both sides display streaks of toning, including a wide swath of rust-gold...
566The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/26/2013$425.00
1909 NGC PF-64 CAMEO.
French Connection Estate. Without doubt, the cameo contrast called out in the NGC PF-64 CAM grade is all there, but even more pronounced is the outrageous album toning that enshrouds the primary...
926The Collectors' Auction 2011 on 10/21/2011$675.00
1909 NGC PF-66.
Exquisite luster that really belongs on a circulation strike is seen here in vivid format, with each side spinning dizzily as the coin is tilted back and forth. Surfaces are virtually pristine,...
304The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$300.00
1909 and 1910 PF-50/altered surfaces.
Wear is fairly obvious on both these proof nickels, but both have also been thoroughly polished, possibly to remove evidence of circulation. Impaired proofs in this two coin lot.
551The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$500.00
1909 PCGS PF-66.
Use of late dies explains the lack of cameo contrast, although the strike is about as sharp as can be. Brilliant throughout with no more than a couple of faint carbon flecks evident under a glass.
552The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$950.00
1909 NGC PF-67.
This is an astounding superb-gem 1909 proof nickel that surely could garner a coveted "star" designation upon resubmission to NGC (which is highly recommended). Inimitable glowing amber-gold tone...
355The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$330.00
1909 PCGS PF-63.
Arresting chartreuse tint blends with magenta overtones across the primary devices on both sides, yielding a remarkable vision of cameo contrast that is further enhanced by the actual mint frost. The...
353The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$1,400.00
1909 NGC PF-67 Cameo.
A deep, thick blanket of mint frost instills fabulous eye appeal for this sparking white Proof nickel. The obverse is about as close to Ultra Cameo as one can get, though the reverse contrast deters...
416The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$1,250.00
1909 NGC PF-67.
A splendid golden orange hue copiously envelops this Gem's highly mirrored surfaces. Some toning specs are perceived with a strong glass, but these are widely dispersed, and they do not interfere...
941The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$825.00
1909 NGC PF-66.
The frosty cameolike devices show razor sharp detail and appear to be free from marks. The fields are quite reflective, and any signs of contact are well hidden. This is an attractive Proof to say...
1143The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$1,800.00
1909 NGC PF-67*.
The NGC census for proof Liberty Head Nickels indicates only two with the Star designation at this lofty grade level. This specimen's reflective fields show an enticing visual differentiation with...
