This pairing puts together a semi-key date with a key date -- 1909-S AU-58+ and 1914-D VF-20. The 1909-S has brown surfaces accented with an orange tinge. Nicely struck, but it has a couple of insignificant toning splotches. The 1914-D has toned a pleasing, mellow shade of brown, and it is devoid of any surface problems.
