Lot Title:
1898 PCGS PF-64CAM.
Description:
This vibrant example, one of only 735 Proofs struck, is from the initial year of United States Colonialism, the result of the Spanish- American War. Its frosted motifs are supported by deep mirrored fields. An impressive blending of vivid rose, blue, and gold hues add to its vibrant aspect. Some trivial specks, and a paltry amount of hazy reverse toning, are noted on this prominent strike.
