Lot Title:
Four Morgan Silver Dollars.
Description:
This mesmerizing New Orleans' produced foursome comprises the following dates: 1886-O AU-58+, 1887-O MS-63+, 1889-O MS-63+, and 1890 MS-64. The 1886-O has a glistening aspect with a whisper of luster impairment caused not from circulation, but from being mishandled. The cartwheel evidenced on the 1887-O is enlivened by deep russet and blue toning. A gleaming brilliance emanates from the 1889-O's white surfaces, and a whisper of golden iridescence emerges from the splendid, silky obverse surface of the 1890-O.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
