Lot Title:
Group of four silver dollars in older slabs.
Description:
Courteous Collection of Early Type. These are very attractive coins within the type of older holders that are rumored to cause attractive rim toning for encapsulated silver. Small ANACS holders contain 1904-O dollars, one MS-64 and one MS-63, and sure enough, they possess virtually identical vivid rim toning on both sides. No-line NGC holders hold 1902-O and 1885 dollars, both graded MS-64 and once again, both displaying visually compatible narrow rim toning on each side. Four coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
