The First National Bank of Golden City, Missouri. Golden City was incorporated in 1867 as a stagecoach stop and allegedly takes its name from the belief that pioneers used the local mines as urination pits. Talk about a rose by any other name! Medium purple signatures remain fairly legible for this Fine condition $10.
