Lot Title:
Completely filled Dansco 7101 album.
Description:
Collector appeal: "B" for the average grade range estimate of Good to VG. The 1877 key was removed from a PCGS VG-10 holder, and that all by itself lends a lot of appeal to this album collection. 1909-S displays great VF details but the coppery appearance speaks to an older cleaning. Although 1858 LL has been heavily cleaned, the appeal of this collection lies much in the fact that so few of the coins display major problems. The supporting cast tends to show minimal evidence of LIBERTY, but the 1869/69 features a nice planchet at the Good level.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
