Lot Title:
Complete collection of UNC Franklin half-dollars in a Dansco 7165 album.
Description:
Collector appeal: "A" for the average grade range estimate of UNC. A fantastic collection of Franklin half-dollars, not a single one appears to be a slider, and on the contrary, these virtually all seem to grade MS-63 at minimum. A few are just barely starting to show traces of album toning, but nothing can stop the amazing, lustrous eye-appeal blazing off each page. A near-sensational set that must have taken a lot of patience to collect, since they were obviously bought one by one in order to match up in quality.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
