944The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$300.00
1899-O GSA Soft Pack NGC MS-62.
Bombs And Roses Set. Quality certainly seems to meet the choice level as viewed from the reverse, and even the obverse doesn't seem particularly disqualified from ranking a point better in grade,...
1017The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/26/2013$801.00
Twenty 1899-O. Unc.
Obviously transferred from a paper roll, the two end-of-roll toners remain intact, showing dusty pastel color beneath strong patina. Other coins generally show the kinds of abrasions typical for...
816The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$160.00
1899-O (Paramount holder) MS-64.
Far from rare as a date, the value of this 1899-O dollar benefits twofold, first by being in Redfield holder, and second by displaying nice rim toning on both sides, most prominently on the reverse. ...
740The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$475.00
Seven 1899-O, all PCGS MS-64+.
To a coin, modestly subdued luster likely inhibits consideration for MS-65, and each also displays indistinct, light golden toning. Of course, the upside value potential at MS-65 is not a huge...
801The Collectors' Auction 2011 on 10/21/2011$350.00
1899-O NGC MS-65, and a 1902-O NGC MS-65 PL (no line).
1899-O is well toned in variegated bands of color, progressing from metallic-blue to cinnamon-brown to steel-grey to silver-tan to sunset gold as the obverse is traversed left to right. 1902-O is...
924The Midwest Summer Sale 2011 on 07/29/2011$1,050.00
Roll of 1899-O.
Patina is absolutely consistent from coin to coin, giving strong odds that these have been together for some time. Judging by the positioning of die-cracks on the lower reverse, at least three...
843The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$320.00
1899-O PCGS MS-66 (green label) CAC.
Sparkling luster cavorts about the generally white, brilliant fields, dancing merrily around well struck central motifs. A common issue, destined for the collector who can never seem to get his fill...
635The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$610.00
Twenty uncirculated 1899-O.
1899-O will never go down as one of the rare dates in the Morgan dollar series, and this well matched tube of twenty white dollars is probably much like any of thousands still in existence. Edges...
636The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$1,400.00
1899-O NGC MS-67.
Flabbergasted is a term that seldom enters the numismatic lexicon, yet that could be the first reaction upon recognition of the impressive magnitude of the strike for this 1899-O Morgan dollar....
1017The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$1,000.00
1899-O VAM-10. NGC MS-67.
Technical merits aside, this is an amazingly attractive pillowy-white coin whose MS-67 grade will not be questioned by any rational collector for even one second. New Orleans dollars are notorious...
747The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$575.00
Tube of 1899-O Morgan dollars.
The consistent appearance of every coin in this tube implies that they have been together a long time. Although the majority of these coins grade MS-62 - MS-63, a couple or so are candidates for a...
864The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$270.00
1899-O NGC MS-66.
A boldly impressed coin that is obviously far superior in quality to a “common” Gem. Features an essentially flawless silky smooth cheek, and peripheral die cracks surround both sides, particularly...
865The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$450.00
1899-O PCGS MS-66.
This virtually white specimen was no doubt part of the silver dollar release from the Philadelphia Mint in November 1962. A few interesting die cracks appear on the upper and lower portions of its...
855The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$425.00
1899-O PCGS MS-66.
This lot offers a choice PQ dollar from this popular southern mint. Virtually white, it has a couple slight tinges perceived beneath the Eagle. The visual vibrancy radiating from this satiny Gem...
928The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$875.00
Six 1899-O NGC MS-65.
This is a group of six high grade 1899-O dollars. They are all bright white and problem free.
929The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$330.00
1899-O NGC MS-66.
You just don't see too many PQ MS-66 Morgan Dollars. This example is well deserving of the designated grade. The fields are amazingly clean, and the devices are fully struck.
