Lot Title:
Forty-one half-dimes in a Dansco 6120 album.
Description:
Campania Estate. That in the "1853 no arrows" slot appears to actually be an 1856 with extremely faint details. You have been warned. Otherwise, the album seems to be accurately represented. Some Capped Bust half-dimes include: 1830 (VF), 1832 (VG), 1833 (AG), 1834 (VF), 1835 small date, large 5 (Fine), 1835 small date, small 5 (G), and 1836 (VF), which is a nice surprise given the better-sharpness examples. The balance of forty-one coins are Seated Liberty pieces, with almost all shown to be common dates in the general Good to XF range.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
