Lot Title:

Nearly complete Standing Liberty quarter collection in a Dansco 7132 album.

Description:

Campania Estate. Collector appeal: "C" for the average grade range estimate of VF to XF. The key 1916 is missing, and there is no slot for 1918/7-D. Slots are also empty for 1919-S and 1921, but everything else is present, including some surprise better coins. For highlights with ESTIMATED GRADES, we can list: 1917-S type-2 (AU/dipped), 1919-D (VF), 1920-D (VF), 1920-S (nearly XF), 1923 (VF-30, by far the best coin in the set), 1924-D (XF), 1924-S (XF), 1925 (AU), 1926-S (XF+), and 1930 (AU). Obviously, the consignor made some effort to upgrade this, one of his favorite collections, and one could easily swap out some of the lower grade common dates to turn this into a terrific collection. Loads of opportunity here!
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
