Lot Title:
1935-S Boone, and a 1936-S Bay Bridge, both PCGS MS-66.
Description:
Technical similarity begins with the MS-66 grade ascribed each, but these are also compatible in terms of appearance, as both display ample vintage patina and the type of satiny luster peculiar to these issues. The Bay Bridge features consistent steam-grey patina on both sides with splashes of apricot on the rims, while the 1935-S Boone adds deeper violet overtones to a similar color scheme. Two coin lot.

Each side is intermingled with competing silvery sky-blue and peach-tan colors, but there is evidence of minor haze as well. Several minor ticks fleck Boone's portrait on the obverse. |
