Lot Title:
Twelve different Franklin half-dollars certified by NGC.
Description:
From a single album, these were sent in for certification at the top grading service and yielded grades tightly bound in the MS-64 to MS-65+ grade level, with a couple of nice designations in between. Unlike unnaturally white coins, these all display the type of delicate patina expected of silver that has spent some time in an album, with a couple just starting to develop rim tone. Except where noted otherwise, NGC has given the MS-64 grade to: 1949-D (FBL), 1950, 1951-S (MS-65+), 1952-S, 1953, 1954 (MS-65), 1954-D (FBL), 1954-S, 1957-D, 1960-D, 1961-D, and 1963 (MS-65). Twelve coin lot.
