An arm's-length UNC at first glance, discerning the faints abrasions and marks on the cheek that denote circulation requires close inspection. Although generally ranked among the "common" Indian tens, 1916-S does qualify for a "second-tier" premium at the AU-58 grade level, well above the value for the truly common dates. (PCGS# 008880)
