Description:

Placement of the original 1848 left of the correct position still shows some ghostly remnants of the effaced digits. Details push for the XF-45 level, but innumerable hairlines tooled into the reverse fields unavoidably summon cause for concern. Fortunately, both sides also display some deep concentric toning that helps alleviate the problematic appearance to some extent. (PCGS# 005412)
