Mintage: 41,000. One in a series of tougher S-mint quarters, survivors are difficult to locate with detail this nice, although the fields have the glossy, subdued appearance of an old cleaning. Time has allowed some peripheral toning to recover, however, and the visual impact is far from horrible. (PCGS# 005462)
