Exquisite smooth proof texture leans toward the gem level, and for sure, NGC's "red" color assessment couldn't be more apt, as bronze-gold patina has taken hold everywhere except at upper right, where beautiful ruby-copper toning drapes into the war bonnet. A single small spot just beneath "OF" probably determines the numeric grade. (PCGS# 002365)
