Lot Title:

Five toned Morgan dollars, all certified MS-65.
|
Description:
|
Bradford Pear Collection. The aficionado of toning who is looking for a group to feast his eyes upon need look no more. Each of these features outstanding, and in most cases spectacular toning, and all are gem MS-65 examples per the respective grading service. They may be cataloged as follows: 1878-S (PCGS, mottled yet attractive coral-gold and silver-jade at the rims), 1881-S (PCGS, an utterly outrageous, astounding pine-green obverse mates nicely with reverse toning that incorporates magenta-gold and aqua-green), 1882-S (NGC, astonishing and unusual olive-denim dominates the obverse and cedes to mottled carrot-gold accents on the reverse, powered by amazing luster), 1883-O (PCGS, classic coral-gold and vanilla-beige), and 1904-O (NGC, end-of-roll denim-green and carrot-creme obverse mated to a blast-white reverse). What an amazing kaleidoscope of color in this five coin lot!
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
