(About The Images)
1871 PCGS Genuine, code 91. 1871 PCGS Genuine, code 91.
Lot Title: 1871 PCGS Genuine, code 91.
Description: Fortunately, PCGS has assured us that the cent is genuine. But... where is the grade? Encapsulated prior to the era when they give you what you paid for (a grade…), we would nonetheless assert UNC details, although striking sharpness allows for only about 3.5 diamonds. Honey-gold patina layers over pumpkin-orange surfaces, and though far from ugly, the color is not-quite-right for a cent of this vintage. (PCGS# 002100)

High Estimate: $450.00
