Four toned Uncirculated Liberty nickels, 1909 through 1912, all NGC.
Description:
Washburn, Arkansas Collection. The consignor did not particularly seek out amazingly toned coins, but a number of pieces that rested in his album(s) took on colorful patterns over time. Here are Liberty nickels dated 1909 (MS-63), 1910 (MS-63), 1911 (MS-62), and 1912 (MS-64). Interestingly, the lowest graded of these (1911) might have the best toning, perhaps by far, having become fully saturated with neon rainbow color partially ringing deep cyan-purple devices. A thoroughly awesome display of color in this four coin lot.
