Clem Stevens Collection. Each has picked up toning to some degree or another, and no date is repeated in this pleasing octet of nicer Mercury dimes. We list them as follows: 1916-S (MS-64, light champagne-grey tone), 1937 (MS-65 FB, amber accents), 1940 (MS-66, pleasing aqua-gold), 1940-S (MS-66, gorgeous album toning obverse left), 1943 (MS-66, chartreuse-silver), 1944 (MS-66, peach color), 1944-S (MS-66, delicate ice-blue), and 1945-D (MS-66, sweet honey-gold). Eight coin lot.
