(About The Images)
1858-O PCGS AU-55. 1858-O PCGS AU-55.
Lot Title: 1858-O PCGS AU-55.
Description: New World Estate. 5 graded AU-55, 17 higher at PCGS. Delicate pale-grey patina graces the central areas of the obverse fields, with honey-graphite color prevalent on the reverse. Ample plate luster remains visible throughout both sides, sparkling through the peripheral areas as the coin tilts beneath a good lamp. A surprisingly difficult coin in better AU grades, as borne out by the population report, and this example has no contact marks to speak of. (PCGS# 005446)

1858-O and 1860-O, AU.
Two Seated Liberty quarters are included in this lot, each lightly circulated. An 1858-O has AU-50 details and has been whizzed with remarkable skill, perhaps with the intent of reducing the impact...
