Lot Title:
Fifty Indian cents, as described.
Description:
New World Estate. A typical circulated roll of Indian cents might sell in the fifty dollar range, but this is not the typical late-date roll. Substantial variety of dates becomes readily apparent, with condition that varies from AG through AU details, granted some problems seen here and there. A few quick highlights regarding dates seen include: 1857 (VF), multiple 1859 through VF, multiple copper-nickel 1861 through 1864, 1864 no L, 1865 (F), 1866, multiple 1867, 1869, 1869/8, 1871, 1874, 1875, 1876, 1879, and last but certainly not least, 1909-S (VG with obverse lamination). Please note an APPROXIMATE count of fifty pieces.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
