A Bust quarter, plus thirty-nine Seated quarters. A Bust quarter, plus thirty-nine Seated quarters.
Lot Title: A Bust quarter, plus thirty-nine Seated quarters.
Description: New World Estate. The 1834 bust quarter grades only AG but has superb, original surfaces. One very worn quarter might be dated 1877-S but has an extremely faint date. We show the balance as 1844-O, 4x 1853, 1853-O, 4x 1854 (one corroded), 2x 1857, 1857-O, 1858, 2x 1873 WA, 1875, 11x 1876, 1876-CC (G/Fair), 1876-S, 3x 1877 (one scratched), 1877-CC, 1877-S, 1878-CC (G/Fair), and 2x 1891. None will grade higher than Fine, but most of these look nice and original, given low grades. Forty coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Low Estimate: $300.00
High Estimate: $500.00

357The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$1,100.00
One BU (tube) roll of 1940 Washington quarters.

One BU (tube) roll of 1941 Washington quarters.
More grades than typical are probably represented in this lot, with coins from MS-62 through at least MS-65 included. The edges are fairly consistent with a transferred roll.

Two BU (tubes) rolls of 1947-D Washington quarters.
Two complete tubes of 1947-D quarters are included in this lot. Although it is apparent that they derive from original rolls, it is equally obvious that these rolls have not been cherry picked for...
