Lot Title:
Twenty cleaned Peace dollars.
Description:
New World Estate. Generally much better dates, and in addition to being cleaned, a couple or so may display additional impairment, such as polishing or PVC damage in one case. On the other hand, a few pieces have been so gently cleaned ("washed", really) that viewers will undoubtedly expect them to readily certify if so desired. A quick list of dates shows plenty of variety, and might look as follows with DETAILS ONLY shown: 1921 (VF, VF), 1924-S (VF), 1926-S (AU), 1925-S (XF), 1927-D (AU), 1927-S (VF, AU), 1928 (VF, XF, XF, yes THREE 1928 dollars), 1928-S (XF, AU), 1934 (AU, AU),1934-D (XF, XF, XF), and 1935-S (XF, XF). Great potential in this twenty coin lot!
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
