Lot Title: Nearly complete set, Including the three keys, in a Whitman album.
Description: Wine And Dine Collection. 1892-S is the only slot not represented for this Whitman album, with everything else nicely accounted for, including the three major keys. A couple of coins remain in NGC slabs, not yet cracked out for album placement by the consignor, including 1896-S (G-4), and 1914-S (VF-20). Obvious effort has been made to collect only coins with LIBERTY at least mostly legible, and we grade 1901-S as VG ("LI...TY"), and 1913-S as fully Fine (full "LIBERTY"). Amazingly, every other coin in the set seems to have each letter in LIBERTY at least partially visible. The Barber quarter series has always been one of the most challenging to complete even in circulated grades, with full LIBERTY coins considerably more difficult to located than their low-grade counterparts. This collection represents a remarkable attempt at creating just such a set.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
