(About The Images)
1831 AU details/cleaned/questionable color. 1831 AU details/cleaned/questionable color.
Lot Title: 1831 AU details/cleaned/questionable color.
Description: Marshmallow Collection. Mulberry-blue iridescence emanates from most of the surface, helping to conceal rather gentle hairlines that spin and twist beneath. This unattributed quarter actually has some chance of getting a straight AU grade at one of the certification services, but the consignor chose not to deal with the hassle of shipping back and forth. Still, it is a nice piece with strong, bold definition that rises admirably from slightly reflective fields. (PCGS# 005348)

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
