(About The Images)
Lot of twenty Lincoln cents in the 1912 to 1934 date range. Lot of twenty Lincoln cents in the 1912 to 1934 date range.
Lot Title: Lot of twenty Lincoln cents in the 1912 to 1934 date range.
Description: Mike Wrinkle Collection. Scotsman general policy is to decline coins encapsulated by any but the well-respected grading companies, but sometimes, perfectly suitable coins appear in their slabs. Provided the grading is judiciously reviewed, these Lincoln cents may justify a second or third glance, with only alternate grades "through the plastic" offered here (NNC grades have been ignored): 1912 (MS-60 RD, a large grey obverse spot needs to be conserved if possible), 1912 (MS-63 RB, very sharp), 1915-D (MS-62 RB), 1916-S (MS-60/reverse cleaned), 1917 (MS-62 RD), 1918 (MS-60/recolored, but looks as nice as any MS-64 RB), 1924 (MS-63 RB), 1925 (MS-64 RB, very close to full red), 1926 (MS-64 RD, possibly the nicest coin here, with nice strike doubling on the date), 1926 (MS-64 RD, another nice one), 1928 (MS-65 RD, minor obverse carbon specks), 1928-D (MS-62 RB), 1929 (MS-65 RD but a light old reverse fingerprint), 1929-D (MS-64 RB), 1930 (MS-63 RB), 1930 (AU-58 RB), 1931 (MS-63 RB), 1933 (MS-63 RD), 1933 (MS-64 RD), and 1934 (MS-64 RD). Twenty coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
