(About The Images)
Seven different dollars graded AU by PCGS. Seven different dollars graded AU by PCGS.
Lot Title: Seven different dollars graded AU by PCGS.
Description: In each case, these would be much expensive at a better mint-state grade, which makes these AU examples seem like a bargain given the near-mint appearance for most of them. Only mintmarked examples are present, including: 1884-S (AU-50, sharp strike, perfectly graded), 1886-O (AU-50, pale luster), 1889-S (AU-53, with better luster than that), 1896-O (AU-55, perfect grade), 1897-O (AU-55,. pewter-white), 1899-S (AU-55, faint wear), and 1927-S (AU-50, well struck with pleasing cartwheel effect). Seven coin lot.
