(About The Images)
1936 Bridgeport, Long Island, and Robinson in a Wayte Raymond page. 1936 Bridgeport, Long Island, and Robinson in a Wayte Raymond page.
Lot Title: 1936 Bridgeport, Long Island, and Robinson in a Wayte Raymond page.
Description: No-Land Road Estate. The Long Island provides particularly alluring pastel album hues, with exceptional luster overall, and should grade at least Choice BU. The next is a remarkably well toned Bridgeport that features saturated denim-blue and cinnamon tone on both sides. Such color is unusual for this half, as they are almost always found white, and this seems to be a choice example. Finally, and probably saving the best for last, the Robinson boasts a slightly eccentric and visually very exciting intermittent blend of shimmering ocean-blue and salmon-gold tone, with the colors intervened by an intriguing textile pattern on the reverse. Here again, it is a type that rarely comes nicely toned, and this one looks like a vibrant, lustrous gem. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1936 Bridgeport, 1936 Wisconsin, and a 1939-D Oregon, all PCGS MS-66.
Lovely silver-white coins match up very well for this trio and provide the appearance most in vogue with commemorative collectors today. Let's face it -- untoned commemoratives often sell fastest in...

1936 Bridgeport, 1936-S Bay Bridge, and a 1937 Roanoke, all NGC MS-65.
Blazing white surfaces generate terrific eye-appeal for this trio of commems. The Bridgeport is particularly desirable, since this example displays noticeably better white luster than most. Bright...

1936 Bridgeport, 1936 Cleveland, and a 1937 Roanoke, all PCGS MS-65...
Finely textured rust-gold patina is splashed across virtually the entire Bridgeport, and even duskier but similarly textured violet-bronze toning affects the 1936 Cleveland. Much less toning is...

1606The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$190.00
1936 Bridgeport. NGC MS-65.
The mattelike surfaces are dappled with a splendid array of russet-gold hues. Some contact ticks are observed beneath the superb original toning. An impressively struck issue.
1607The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$350.00
1936 Bridgeport. PCGS MS-66.
The satiny surfaces are enhanced by a blush of lilac that help to cloak a couple of stray hairlines and ticks from the naked eye. A prominently struck example from the centennial of this city's...
1608The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$290.00
1936 Bridgeport. NGC MS-66.
The splendid tones of russet-gold and tinges of light blue make for a visual treat. A scant array of toning specks do not present any type of detraction for this impressively struck Gem.
