Lot Title:
Six different dates, all NGC MS-64.
Description:
Samuel Robertson Gold Consignment. At the quantity level sometimes considered an "investment lot", this group should nonetheless appeal to a collector-minded bidder as it can address six different dates in a collection, all at a consistent MS-64 grade. We list the coins as: 1911-D (extremely sharp strike, coarse and attractive surface texture), 1915-S (average strikes, marks on Liberty's midsection), 1916-S (average strike), 1922 (terrific die-crack around upper half of obverse connects LIBERTY with surrounding devices), 1923 (slightly weak strike), and 1923-D (great strike, some tiny sharp ticks left of torch). All of these appear to be utterly original examples in this six coin lot.
